Sayeeda Warsi: at last, some Conservatives speak up

The strange case of the silence of Conservatives over the anti-gay views of their new Communities Spokesperson, Sayeeda Warsi, may be drawing to a close. There is at last a small whiff of criticism, reported in The Times today, but even so there is a rather eerie silence out there.

Have anti-gay comments become acceptable in the new-look Conservative Party, or will others start speaking out?
