Road trip update: Ealing done, Watford and Hillingdon next

Mark Pack speaking at Ealing Liberal Democrats AGMLast night I went over to Ealing to talk at the local Liberal Democrat AGM about lessons from the 2010 general election for winning future elections.

If you missed me there and would like to hear the talk, you can catch me at the Watford AGM on 13 November or the Hillingdon AGM on 20 November. The Hillingdon event is open to Liberal Democrats from other local parties too.

Of course, if you can’t make any of them and really want to hear me speak, (a) think again or (b) drop me an email on mark.pack@gmail.com asΒ I’m happy to come to other local party events too.

It was lovely to see Liberal Democrat Councillor Harvey Rose given a special presentation to mark him standing down as leader of our group there after years of hard campaigning that helped see the party win its first seats in Ealing and then continue to win elections. This May we increased our representation and there are five Liberal Democrats on Ealing Council.

Also good to hear that local party membership has grown massively in the last year – and has continued to grow since the May election and coalition deal.
