Bad news for pedestrians

Not good at all: pedestrian crossings are configured only to suit a small minority of pedestrians.

  1. But… a normal 20ft crossing has a total safety window of 12 seconds so that's 18 inches per second to actually get across a stand crossing. If you need any longer than that then we'll have to resort to common sense.
