This database holds the party’s records about voters, such as canvass data gathered on the doorstep and email addresses given in response to online campaigning. It was introduced after the 2010 general election to replace EARS.

The Connect database system is based on the NGPVAN system used by the Democrats in the USA, including during Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 winning Presidential election campaigns. This system is also used by the Canadian Liberals.
