David Cameron’s party conference speech in a Wordle

Less about generations than Ed Miliband, more about people. Not much of a showing for tax or cuts, plenty of showing for collective terms such as country, government, society and together. Here’s what was in David Cameron’s autumn party conference speech:

  1. they’re an interesting bunch – the Tories! A bit embarrassing as coalition partners but then, what on earth would we have done with the other lot?

‘middle class cuts’ – doing your duty and sharing the pain! Heated discussions at alienating the ‘middle classes’ by withdrawing universal benefits. But life is a great leveller! Middle class now but maybe your parents needed help to get your there? Maybe tomorrow you or your partner gets cancer and realise the limits of Bupa! There is a need to clarify what we call national insurance and social security so that both its cost and universality are understood – over the coarse of a lifetime!
