  1. Both great servants for our party. Thank Gerald and Richard. The new generation in our party should always remember the roots from which they came. To often the trailblazers are forgotten.

  2. I remember from many years ago having great respect for Richard Kemp, especially when he spoke on housing (a subject still in need of more action nationally) and local government. We owe him a great deal for his work on these in which he always showed zeal and practical common sense. Likewise Gerald Vernon-Jackson who was always fair-minded in debate.
