  1. Surely they can be at least partly responsible if not as councillors then as members of the party for selecting their MP, who is pretty squalidly-behaving.

  2. Wasn’t it Conservative party members that selected Johnson and Truss that lead, in large part, to the government conduct that the public is so unhappy about.

    I know its always smart to distance yourself from the national party if it is not doing well, but this is not distancing, its moving to another planet!
