Born and raised in Wrexham to a Welsh-speaking family, Jane Dodds became leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats in 2017.
In 2019 she won the Brecon and Radnorshire Parliamentary by-election with a 12% swing but then lost the seat in the 2019 general election.
Jane Dodds is a fully qualified social worker and worked in the public sector for over 20 years as a child protection social worker.
